What is LONI?

Logical Objective Network Intelligence (LONI) is a true vendor agnostic centralized network, security, & IT infrastructure management and automation platform that delivers actionable data and the ability to take instant first action whether on a desktop in the office or from anywhere on your smartphone or tablet. While LONI monitors your enterprise infrastructure, you also have the ability to automate any network, security, IT or service delivery related task or process. LONI also does network device configuration compliance and backups, change management, network mapping, and security automation.

What is actionable data?

Actionable data is the ability to filter through all the noise/data that production network infrastructure systems produce to provide you with the most relevant information related to the incident, process, or task you are trying to accomplish. What is first alert vs first action?

Most tools will only show you a notification about an issue, incident, or outage, a lot of times just a basic email. From there, the race begins to triage the situation. That’s assuming you are home or in the office. LONI’s R&D team does not believe this is sufficient for today’s complex infrastructure. Do I need to know Python or other scripting language to use ZeroCode Automation?

Automate any network, security, or IT infrastructure task or process without writing a single line of code. LONI’s R&D team believes the concept of network engineers needing to become software developers can be counter-productive. Network engineers need to retain knowledge of hardware, configuration and CLI, device specs, design principles, protocols, and algorithms among others, and now, want to try to add software development to that list! LONI has the utmost respect for engineers who are up for that challenge, but this should not be the industry standard, more so the exception. Network Automation is powerful and can add value to a lot of enterprises. LONI’s Zerocode automation allows your enterprise to take advantage of automation without pulling your engineers into a completely different career path. What are your mobile capabilities?

What if I already have a monitoring tool?

LONI can replace current tools, or it can serve as a complement to them. LONI integrates with your existing infrastructure so you can easily view and troubleshoot devices across your network on one platform.

For example, LONI can monitor network devices and alert you when there is an issue. If you already have a monitoring tool, LONI will integrate with your existing tool so you can see network device status and be able to act on alerts within the LONI platform. Regardless of vendor, LONI aggregates all network nodes, alerts, and incidents for all locations and allows you to see Syslogs and SIEM logs for all devices in one place with the added convenience of being able to make changes as needed right on the MobileNOC tool.

LONI offers zero-code, on-demand automation. Its vendor agnostic built-in automation allows you to automate tasks across multiple vendors. You can perform tasks such as automating VLAN, SNMP, port changes, ACLs, security tasks, routing policies and TACACS.

LONI allows you to manage any device in your infrastructure: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Active Directory, public cloud, ESX private cloud, and security platforms.

Is LONI on-prem or off-prem?

LONI has a dedicated appliance or VM that is installed on-prem. LONI can also be installed in your public cloud if you have private connectivity (DX or Express Route) back to your campus LAN and datacenter.
